Election riggers will be disappointed

The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Advanced Party (NAP) in the February 6 governorship election in Anambra State, Mrs. Njideka Anyadike has warned that those who are relying on rigging and violence to have their way in the poll will be disappointed, urging all the participants to toe the path of sanity and fairness.

Anyadike who spoke at the All Saints Cathedral Field Onitsha during the kick off of her election campaign, maintained that God had taken over the conduct of the forth- election, stressing that nobody would be able to derail the governorship process.

According to her, "we have been praying to God against rigging in this election. God has heard us. This is the appointed time for us to have free and fair election in the State and nobody will do otherwise", pointing out that "in the past the people of the state turned their back to God and have reaped the punishment for shunning God, but now God has intervened into the affairs of the state and no negative force will turn back the hand of the clock in the state."

Anyadike, a former banker, insisted that God is using all the security agencies in the country to assure free and fair election in the state, stressing that the inspector General of Police Mr Ogbonna Onovo has vowed and provided all the the necessary things needed by the police to ensure violence free poll in the state, adding that INEC will not do the contrary.

She hinted, that her administration will introduce state scholarship scheme for the first time in the state, just as it will ensure the payment of bursary to the students from the state.

She also said that she will encourage agriculture in the state and reintroduce some of the staple agricultural foods that are going into extinction.

The NAP governorship candidate appealed to the people of the of the state to put God first in everything they are doing, as anything done without God will fail.

Mrs.Njideka Anyadike, you have forgotten that INEC is the electorial wing, while the Judiciary is the Judiciary wing of PDP.
