WHAT WAS NOT FROM THE BEGINNING

“Let not the wife depart from her husband but and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled, to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife” I Cor. 7:10-11
“For the woman which hath a husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.” Rom. 7:2
what was not from the beginning in your life must give way in Jesus name. Divorce was never part of God’s plan for mankind. Barreness was not so from the beginning.
DIVORCE
Divorce was not from the very beginning. For “the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone: I will make him an help meet for him. “Gen 2:18.
“And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. “And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made him a woman and brought her unto the man.
“And Adam said this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man.” Gen 2:21-23.
Ye advocates of divorce: Be warned! “for the Lord God, the God of Israel said that he hateth putting away.” Mal. 1:16.
It is not lawful for a man to put away his wife for any cause said the Lord. “Have you not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife: And they twain shall be one flesh.
“Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.” Matt. 19:4-6.
Divorce or separation was not part of God’s agenda for mankind. Divorce is a seed of sorrow sown by the Devil. It must not be allowed in any home.
Said the Lord God of Israel: “From the beginning it was not so” Matt 19:8.
Know ye not that from the beginning God commanded that “the woman’s desire shall be to her husband and that he shall rule over her” (Gen 3:5) --- and that man should reciprocally love and “render unto his wife due benevolence” I Cor. 7:2.
“And unto the married I command yet not I, but the Lord, let not the wife depart from her husband but and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled, to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.” I Cor. 7:10-11. God went further to warm: “Art thou bound unto a wife? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife” I Cor. 7:27.
“For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
“So then if while her husband liveth she be married to another man. She shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man” Rom. 7:2-3.
Thus God had set stiff conditionalities making divorce biblically impossible. Should a couple quarrel God directs that they “reconcile” I Cor. 7:11.
If and when they insist on divorce neither is permitted to remarry as long as the other patner is a life.
To remarry is to commit adultery and the adulterer can not make heaven. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived neither fornicators nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with man kind.” I Cor. 6:9.
BARRENESS
Bareness was not from the beginning. Barreness was not part of divine agenda for man.
For in the beginning “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
“And God bless them, and God said unto them,” Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 1:27.
From the beginning God had programmed man to be fruitful. He made man and his children to be for signs and wonders. Isaiah 8:18.
From the begin God had design that man should at least live 120 years Gen 6:3. Sin is now the root cause of why man is not enjoying the fullness of God as it was in the beginning.
