FIRSTFRUITS Part I

The believer that is wise and is a covenant practitioner can provoke accelerated breakthrough for himself. How? This is it.
You can command divine backed promotion/provision through a number of ways.
One of such ways is the application of the principle of First Fruits. It is a requirement the Lord demands of his children. Cain & Abel knew of this principle but it was Abel that applied the principle correctly. “And Abel, he also brought of the Firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect into Abel and his offering” Gen. 4:4.
FirstFruits is in categories.
Category A
A child of God can commit God to his business or official job by:
Honoring God substantially with the firstfruits of all your increase. When you do this God takes over, with special interest your affairs; including your business/job. Prov. 3:9-10 God then makes sure you do not live in lack.
For example a salary earner who has a monthly raise by N1,500 added to his salary in December 2007 will sensibly surrender the N1,500 (increase) in Jan 2008 to God as firstfruits. You envelope this money as firstfruits offering addressed to the High Priest/General overseer of your church. Your parish pastor who may be under authority is not entitled to this offerings. The offering goes to the High Priest Lev. 3:50-51. You are free to spend subsequent salaries as you wish, but a good child of God is not permitted to spend first-increase to his salary/promotion payrise. God expects you to honor him with the increase. Abel the second son of Adam knew this principle well. God blessed Abel so much to the envy of Cain. When Cain killed Abel out of envy God promptly avenged his death. God would deal with anyone who out of envy wants to harm you because of Godly blessing.
Category B
First Fruits Sacrifice
This category is tough. Only the extremely committed Christians successfully practice this. Covenant walkers in this category surrender their firstfruits entirely to God. They leave nothing to themselves. For example, a believer who lands a good job honors God with his entire first salary as sacrifice to God.
As it is paid to him by his employer he envelopes the salary entirely as first fruits sacrifice to God. This was what Abraham did when he offered Issac his only child/son he had at old age to God. He was about 118years when he offered Isaac his only son to God in sacrifice.
